The St. Nikolai Church on the Reformationsplatz in Spandau is a three-nave Gothic hall church. Built in the 14th century, it is the defining landmark of the historic town center of Spandau. Elector Joachim II accepted the Protestant faith here and thus heralded the Reformation into the Margraviate of Brandenburg. In addition to church services, the St. Nikolai Church also hosts organ devotionals and concerts.
